Anyone who ever visited Liberty Market five years back may like its new arrangement for parking, because in olden days to get dropped off, and picked up was total a chance, there was always double parking , you will choose , if you want to get picked up near “Cone wala” or “Anem store”, or “Milli shoes” if lucky , otherwise driver will make another round to find you near Anem , instead of cone wale, things are better than that but not at their best yet, however if you are in Lahore you can’t leave without Liberty visit, with all the khussa, chappals, and now shadi prep, it still is a must visit place with all its flaws… then there is “Capri” an old favorite poori spot,  and then “Bay nazeer Qulfa” right across.. To attract people.

One memorable thing about Liberty is its “Gool Guppay wala”, and “Chaat’ etc, especially in new settings it gave a cozy leisurely feel to visitors, in winter people on Sunday just came out to hangout with their families. However now some strange reason this hawkers get removed and shoved away , and they hide and liberty losses its charm, actually they should have some fixed spots to sell fast food and snacks there , it makes it lively and authentic to see these “thylay wala” in there.

Recently will noticed two things you don’t want to see at a women and family shopping area, one a lot of filth and sewer water near “Chaatwala “ .

Secondly lots of guys riding their bikes in the parking area , and “Duppata gali” which looked great when it was only for walkers, now is a constant line of cars again to cross the road.

Parking machines are not used any more  however most shoppers liked that option better.

Men hanging out without any purpose are another very obvious increase, hope someone is managing Liberty Market Lahore will consider these issues.
